Columbia Beach Falls — Attraction in Bay Village

Beautiful and unexpected. If you're in the area this is worth a stop! We love the lake, but live about an hour south. We have been to Huntington Beach, Edgewater, etc many times. We frequent Cleveland Clinic for Appointments at various locations in CLE, and we were about 10 mins from this park so I thought why not? We grabbed lunch and headed over. I had read other reviews of it in advance. I have something called POTS, and I was flaring a little bit the day we went. I was nervous the walk would be too far for me, but it was really close, maybe 2 minutes max to get to the scenic overlook deck to see the waterfall. You have to park across the street- you'll see the parking lot. Then there is a crosswalk to go across the road to the park. Each time we crossed cars stopped and waved us across. We did not stay long but enjoyed a few "Zen" moments before we made our drive back home. There's steps that lead down to the beach, but we didn't do that. There is a picnic table near the deck where the waterfall is. Next time we go I'd like to pack a lunch. So if you're worried about the walk, it's honestly not far to see a...

Just like the people that live on the lake, full of trash. I love my lake but city people produce and discard most of the trash you see in the lake. You wanna call my bluff, go to east 55th fishing peer and watch the people literally litter their Trask into the lake. This little beach was easy to access. You park across the street in a little parking lot and follow the path to the stairs to go down to the beach. It’s a small beach, but that also meant there weren’t many people there.
