gem in the city.

The atmosphere is peaceful, the walking track is perfect for a morning jog or afternoon stroll, and the park is always clean and well-kept. It’s a great spot for families, with plenty of open space, shaded areas, and an hoursback riding area. I’ve always felt safe here, and it’s clear the community takes pride in maintaining it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind or get some fresh air!

The caves are also an amazing plus! I've been going here for the past 15 years and have always enjoyed my time. There is plenty of accessible parking that is typically free right near the trail heads.

Excellent fun park for trail riding, walking, jogging, rock climbing, bird watching, peace seeking, etc. Used to be part of a nearby military base, bunkers can still be seen, most of which are covered by vegetation. Also, home to a police station and horseback riding training venue. At its highest point, one can see part of the nearby coast, including Old San Juan. Among its varied vegetation, one can find the Ceiba, a variety of tree that can be over a hundred years old. Trails and rock climbing areas are well maintained by local crews, although some other areas could be better maintained by the...

This is a great park. You forget you're in the city. The trails are pretty well marked, and they have lots of mountain biking trails. Unfortunately the observation tower (at the binoculars on the map) is closed because many of the boards in the staircase are unsafe and need to be replaced. But you can still see El Morro from the top of the hill! The old military bunkers along the trail are super cool. Great picnic area, bathrooms (no electricity or toilet paper, but running water), water fountain. $4 parking and it felt very safe. We saw so many snails, butterflies, and a snake. We'll...

This place is unique. It’s a campsite, equestrian park, running trail and mountain biking trail. The site also has a bunch of old bunkers. Nos of the bunkers are in disrepair, but some are being repurposed as offices and storage. They charge a small $4 fee to park and there is plenty of parking. The park has bathrooms and showers. We camped out with the scouts and had a great and safe time. When we were here, there was no electricity. Parking - plenty for $4 Space - tons of area for camping, running, and biking Fire pits - none Grills - none Bathrooms - yes Showers - yes Electricity - maybe
