Jenkins Park is one of the nicest in Baytown. It's very big and had plenty to do. You can take a nice walk or stroll in the park with their expansive paved walk way. There is a baseball field to get the guys together and have a game,as well as a basketball court. There is a pretty nice splash pad during those hot summer day. A good size playground with a couple of slides, swings sets and monkey bars for the kids. Clean bathrooms and a couple of water fountains. On hot days and ice cream man on a bike will pass by with treats for sale as well as an ice cream truck. There is a small soccer field also. My children and I had a wonderful day at this park with all it offer. If you don't have children and aren't into none of those things. Maybe your style is rippling some sheds on the skate board there is a nice skate park practice some jumps on. My favorite part of o the park, as my children and I were leaving a few hours at the splash pad was the beautiful smell of ganja coming from the skate park. So yes folks stoner skaters doing two things they love and do best. Skate boarding and smoking weed. If I wouldn't have had my kids and an upcoming drug screen I would've love to join in on their session. So you see this park has something for everyone. Next time you're in Baytown don't for get to stop by Jenkins Park. But remember it's BYOBAB. Bring your own...

Read moreI brought my toddler here because they have age appropriate equipment for him to utilize. He loved the playground. He wanted to walk the trails, so we walked through them. They are well maintained, with great directional mapping. They would be perfect to bike, jog, and would be stroller/wheelchair friendly. My little guys loved seeing birds, squirrels, spiders, and the turtles. The park is safe and well maintained. There were tons of families out and about. There is also a splash pad! I had no idea until we got there. The park offers a lot of amenities. There is disc golf, trails, dog run, outdoor work out equipment, playground, splash-pad, and sporting arenas. It also seemed extremely safe. The locals all seemed kind. Moms were allowing children to play together. People were respectful of one anothers space. I will definitely bring my children back here. My only word of warning, the children's play equipment does get hot, so plan a visit in early morning, or ...
