If you park in the handicapped spot and not suppose to I will call the police. You shouldn't make me have to walk all the way from the parking lot. Truck from Iowa is always there. I do not see a handicap plate unless you are a cop??
When entering the gate make sure your whole family is in before opening the second gate. Loose dogs go thru the second gate to meet the new dog coming in. My dog almost exited the 1st gate because the family was still entering.
Sign says parents are responsible for their children. Do not let them run and keep under your supervision if under 12. Couple weeks ago a toddler was crawling all over the grass and lady said my baby is used to dogs and plays with my pit bull puppy. Well my terrier is NOT used to kids and snaps at them trying to play. We had to leave.
A grandmother last week was talking to people in the back not watching her 2 and 4 yr old grandchildren playing at the water pump and running around. Again my dog thinks they are toys and jumps all over them. We had to leave.
Today a 9 yr old boy plays ball in the dog park and my dog snaps trying to get the huge ball and I said I'm not leaving again this time he needs to go to the playground. He left...
Read moreGreat dog park! I recently moved from Columbus back to Warren and couldn't find a good park. My mom recommended this dog park and it is very nice. Large enough for dogs to run around and tire themselves out. I can definitely appreciate that!
Had to come back and edit my review. I took my dog here a few weeks ago and I probably will not be back. Dog owners standing around taking to other owners, which is fine, but when you are too distracted to watch your dog because the conversation is too good, maybe you shouldn’t bring your animal. I was trying to leave this park and a lady’s husky escaped as I was exiting the gates. She stood around for 5 minutes talking but was too busy to notice her dog escaped with me. I’m also not going to grab a dog I don’t know because someone else is too lazy. She had an older gentlemen grab the dog because she didn’t feel like it. Then snatched the gate door out of my hands because I wasn’t involving myself with her dog. Another dog owners dog is NOT my responsibility or anyone else’s. Someone really needs to monitor this park because someone is going to get seriously injured with this type of behavior...
Read moreThis is an absolutely beautiful and relaxing place, and not just for the dogs--for their humans, too! My dog gets really excited going there. I have a small dog, and there are separate areas for large and small dogs. There is no fee to enter. I would recommend keeping your leash handy in case of a disagreement between dogs. (I did not see this happen on the small dog side but a couple of times over on the large dog side.) A secure fence and double gate system keeps your dog safely inside the appropriate dog park area. There is also a doggie watering station, a place to wash your dogs upon entry or exit, a doggie swim area, and a generous supply of little baggies at distribution kiosks to pick up any dog waste. It is indeed a very nice and clean place; I'm glad to see that everyone contributes to keeping it that way. I would highly recommend working this place into your regular routine whenever possible. it is a great stress reliever for dogs, and...
