A beautiful gem in Juniata County. Our visit (this time) was for a photo background for homecoming pictures. The only detractor from this location is no real parking. It is situated along a back country road that is barely two lanes wide… but there is generally little to no traffic because it is a back country road barely two lanes wide. The bridge itself has been beautifully restored a few years ago. The area is clean and well maintained. We did not see any trash laying around and while there is a little graffiti on some of the wooden beams. It does not really interfere with the natural beauty. I grew up a few miles from this place and remember the bridge in its pre-restoration state. There are places to park when coming from Route 75, there is easy access to the creek bed (rock skipping, anyone?), it's actually handicapped accessible if you can push a wheelchair up the the incline.
