I don’t think I’ve ever left a review on google before, but I just had to for this business. We often come up north from the Kalamazoo area and go to a few wineries while we’re up here. While we were in Boyne for the weekend, we decided to try a couple of new ones - Maple Moon being one of them. Though the others were okay, Maple Moon blew them out of the water. We stopped on Friday to check it out (a group of 4) and Karen helped us with sampling their wines, salsas and syrups. Their wine is phenomenal, ranging from semi-dry to sweet (if you like sweeter wines, this is perfect!). They also have amazing salsas, the mango salsa being my favorite. We finished our visit with a syrup tasting, which was some of the best syrup I’ve had (specifically the cinnamon). Aside from the great products, Karen made the experience even better! She was super helpful and was well versed in their business, from operation to products. She connected with us on a level that isn’t expected from employees. It felt like we had known her our whole lives! We had such a great time that, when another group of friends joined us the next day, we brought them to show them how great it was. We all had a great time, and even when it was much busier than when we first visited, Karen handled the rush very well and was still able to give everyone the same treatment that we had the first time being there. I know this is long, but trust me when I say that this should be one of your stops when visiting up north, or even if you live here and have never been! The food, wine, and customer service at this establishment will not disappoint. We will...

During our visit, the poor woman running the tastings was all alone with nearly a full house. She was able to keep up with everyone and was super apologetic, which wasn't even necessary. We did one tasting for our group as literally all of us hate wine. We figured it was something so original that we had to at least try it once to say we did it!! Our favorite was the peach one. It was sweet and had a nice taste going down. The maple root beer, though, that's fantastic! We asked about trying the syrups, and while she was swamped and couldn't guide us through the syrups personally, she gave us spoons and the syrups and let us taste them all!! They were so delicious! Our favorites were the light amber, cinnamon, and #42. We ended up buying a bottle of light amber and some garlic maple rub that we cannot wait to try! This is a beautiful little winery that you just have to come try...

Showed up on a things to do in Petoskey search and described maple syrup wine. So we decided to stop in. Very nice winery. Small compared to some but allows for more one on one with them. The wines were unique but amazing. Some of the wine you can taste the maple which is unique. At the end of the tasting they allowed you to sample all the maple syrups and those are also some of the best we have ever had. The bourbon maple is one of our favorites. You almost think there is alcohol in it but there isn’t. The owner was there and was cooking up a batch of maple syrup and gave us a tour and explained the whole process from start to finish all while still tending to the maple syrup. He’s like the Willy Wonka of maple syrup lol. Great people, great service, great product,...

This was our first stop at three wineries/cideries on a beautiful Saturday. None of the others were nearly as good; they exceeded expectations. Honestly, who doesn't love maple syrup and wine/cider? This place is what you get if the two had a baby. The woman pouring drinks was very attentive and friendly. Actually, everyone working there was. We were even given maple syrup samples which was probably a ploy to have us spend over $100 on products, which we gladly did. We each had a flight of 4 (you get to keep your glass). Our favorite was the Maple Blackberry and we also took home some of the bourbon-aged syrup. We wish we lived closer!

A unique winery no doubt. If you're a wino looking for something a little different, this place is a Must! The maple syrup comes right from the trees in back of the property. While the views from property lack a bit, it's a well run establishment with nice menu selection. Cornelius says, "Try the cider while ya here. The Maple Blueberry wine is most unique, mittens down. Oh! And don't forget the complimentary syrup tasting!"
