Technical College of the Lowcountry — Attraction in Beaufort

If I could give 0 stars to TCL I would. The faculty at this college are extremely unhelpful and make you feel like an inconvenience to them. I needed help with my fincanical aid and all they did was keep forwarding my email around since nobody was able and willing to help me. Eventually they just stopped responding without even solving the issue. As a result I withdrew in the appropriate window from the college before ever even starting and then they thought it would be fair to charge me for classes I never attended. Now I am being harassed about owing them $74. Take your money to a credible college who is willing to help you and that is actually interested in you furthering your...

I can not speak on the school it self. But the Financial aid department is the worst literally. I called 20 times and someone kept hanging up on me. Then I called back and I’m being sent to voicemail at 10 am in the morning. Then I use the call back feature just for someone to hang up on me again. Finally speak to someone about the documents I sent in over a week ago for her to tell me “I’m going to forward them now so they can start processing” so they sat there for a week with no movement. I have called for over a week and have only spoken to someone one time. I then was transferred to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and never got a return call. I have sat on hold for over 20 minutes each time and still no answer. I live almost an hour away so driving there and being told I have to have an appointment that I can’t make would be extremely frustrating. TCL please work on the phone issue.
