This park took a direct hit from a tornado on Memorial Day of 2019. A lot of work has been done to clean up and improve the park. The Russ house is gone now, but the PlayScape has been greatly improved. The trails have also been greatly improved with crushed rock and stairs. The park has a very nice network of trails. Read moreThis is a fantastic park! Lots of walking paths, a real restrooms with hot running water, a butterfly garden and one of the most creative playgrounds I've ever seen! It's very dog friendly as long as you keep them on leashes. The playground is made entirely out of large sticks and logs.
