Possibly the friendliest museum in Minnesota. Certainly very knowledgeable. Sadly I wasn’t there for one of their famous programs like the art exhibit and ice cream social. But there were things to see and learn—favorites were the recorded Native American chant from 1906 and the Luscious Red Strawberry queen display. And the traveling Tattoo exhibit! But for what it’s worth they have the museum inside the history center, and some trails that lead to some interesting points outside, making the museum interactive.
