YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Youth Sports Complex — Attraction in Beckley

Such a super great place to walk your miles, well maintained,and a very peaceful, quiet area to enjoy the surroundings and the beauty of West Virginia. Kids can play on a nice playground or safely ride a bike along with me. Trash is never a problem and most people are very tidy with the Doggie Do. My only suggestion would be another toilet facility on the back side near volley ball area. Plenty of parking and good access to the trails just off the track. The YMCA soccer complex provides a safe and pleasant place to walk or run. The paved track is almost a mile, and if you walk partway on the (seldom used) road, it’s a mile. The track is smooth, level, and wide. Even during soccer games, the walking paths aren’t crowded.

Excellent and under utilized. The fields are well maintained and lighted. Great for practicing any sport. Many times you can find spots to practice as it is a large and generally under utilized place. The have a great path for running and walking. Could use a water fountain or two maybe a bigger park for the kids as the current one is a bit small. Great access to trails. If it had just a few more amenities it could be so much more.
