Super surprising experience. After expecting a typical farm market, we fell upon, through a very dark drive through the country, a small, cozy but interesting store. All items handmade and American made if not local. Family made dresses of all sizes of what looked to be vintage fabric possibly? Lovely homemade soaps and handicrafts along with a variety of items I'm sure change often. Seasonal vegetables and wonderful garlic were available in November as well as a freezer full of duck, pork and beef selections all at reasonable prices. The owner we learned, also a father of 9 was super personable and friendly while enjoying sharing their interesting farm life. Unbelievably, when finding they do not accept debit cards, I was told to take my near $40 in purchases and send him a check. Just unheard of. I will definitely be stopping each time while in Bedford. The kicker of the night was an invite to the barn to see the new piglets at feeding time. As we drove off elated in the dark, we questioned "did that really happen?" After dinner tonight with potatoes as a side, fresh from their farm, yes indeed it did. The check is in the mail friend....
