Arnold Valley Overlook offers an exceptional view off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a definite stopping point along the Blue Ridge. It offers a peaceful and beautiful view for many, many miles. I highly recommend stopping to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery.

An absolutely gorgeous picturesque View! If it's possible you should time this location to sit and watch the sunset! The Overlook is easy to access off the Blue Ridge Parkway side. And it seems as if you can see forever! You will few many mountain ranges miles and miles and miles. It was May and rhododendron around that area would blooming also and...

I'm sure the view would have been great, but the road leading up this way was closed due to snow despite the mountains not even having a flake of snow on them. Seems to me someone was just too lazy to open up the gates from the last snowfall. Waste of 2 hours spent driving here and back...
