This is a lovely spot to stop and taste if you’re in the area! If you’ve never had mead before, this is a great introduction! The cabin is beautiful and has a really interesting history. It has a lovely view and porch out back! The owner/Meadmaker was very nice and walked us through each mead.

Loved our tasting flight, additional pour, and mead-ginger ale-OJ cocktail! Always fun learning about mead and meaderies, definitely worth a stop if you're in or around Bedford. Cozy and rustic log-cabinesque mead hall in a Revolutionary-War-era lodge!

Axing nook on the side of the mountain to warm you after after your bones are cold from a hike. If you stop by for a trail walk stop by for mead and some hot chili and grill cheese!!!! Staff were awesome and so we're the people!!

Really enjoyed the mead after hiking sharptop in the area. There were great flavors - a lot better than the mead I've had in the past which came from the supermarket. The people were nice, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The sampler was a great (and inexpensive) way to try all their choices. Highly recommend if...
