Simplicity Styling Salon — Attraction in Bedford

Yesterday I called at 8 and scheduled an appointment with Ari at 12 for a perm rod set. I got there at 1140. Around 12 my hair was shampooed however, Ari clearly overbooked herself because I didn't get to her chair until 230. Even though I wanted a perm rod set I just said curl it because I had been there so long and a perm rod set would have taken at least another hour. It was my birthday so I was on a time frame to get my hair done which completely set everything I had planned back. She didn't even apologize for how long i had waited. When she styled my hair it seemed like she didn't want to do what i was asking her. She wanted to style it how she felt would look best. And she seemed annoyed by me critiquing how it looked at first. Although reluctant, she did do it the way I wanted it and I did like it. She charged me $65. I didnt believe it was worth $65 especially since I got there at 1140 and didnt leave until around 3:30 for some curls. The environment of the salon is very nice and welcoming. However because of this experience I don't believe I would want to come back. If your going to over book, atleast let the customers know when they get their you are behind instead of having them wait for hours. Maybe on a Saturday I didnt have anyththing to do I would of been ok but absolutely not on my birthday which I had to push things...

Came here to get a silk press and layers cut smh long story short the stylist used dull scissors cutting off years of growth and causing damage to my hair I had to get a refund and go to another person to get more hair cut .! I always am nervous about getting a haircut and this is why .! I don’t want to take years to grow my hair out for someone who been doing hair for decades to cut my 5years of growing my hair off with no remorse .! Friendly awesome stylist! I go here whenever I am in need of a hair-do or brows or to bring my mother whenever she wants to get jazzy! I have been styled by a few of the stylist here and they all do their thing! Definitely recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a new go to.
