Wind Canyon Trail is a perfect example of how a short hike can offer an incredible reward. Located in the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, it’s an easy, brief loop that leads to one of the most stunning overlooks in the entire park. The trail itself is a treat, winding through a wind-sculpted canyon with fascinating rock formations. The main event, though, is the panoramic view of the Little Missouri River snaking through the dramatic badlands.
