Star M Barn — Attraction in Belgrade

We got married at the Star M Barn a few weeks ago, and I couldn't have been more happy with our choice of venue. Not only did we get the venue for the entire weekend to host a wedding, but also a stunning rehearsal dinner on the deck of the barn as well. We also currently live in Idaho, and not only did the barn exceed all our expectations for a dream wedding, but the owners and their family helped above and beyond with planning an out of state wedding. They were always available to answer questions, and worked so hard to make our dream wedding come into fruition while planning from a whole state away. The amount of complements we got on the wedding and how gorgeous every little detail was, was absolutely incredible. You hardly even need decorations or flowers because the barn itself is so beautiful, as well as the backdrop of the mountains! Also, the barn provides many little touches like old, rustic whiskey barrels, crafted lanterns, and all hand built tables and chairs that saved so much on having to rent! I honestly wish we could get married again because the day and our experience at Star M Bar was honestly the best of my life. Thank you so much for helping make sure a perfect, memorable experience! 10/10 recommend getting married...

My wife and I got married at Star M on 7/13/24 and the venue exceeded our expectations by a mile. We came from out of state and had some reservations on a destination wedding, but were easily sold by a FaceTime tour of Star M. From start to finish, Jess and her family were incredible to work with. They were accommodating, organized, caring, and incredibly helpful on providing vendor recommendations. The barn is well maintained and has the amenities needed to throw a proper party, yet keeps its historic charm. The views are impressive and it’s easy to forget you’re only 10 minutes from Bozeman. So many compliments from our guests. We also had the pleasure of renting their newer cabin on site, which was also an amazing experience for us and the wedding party. The Star M Barn is a GORGEOUS location for any event and ANY time of year! So much space and beautiful scenery. I was here for a 60th birthday party and helped set up for the event. The Mellows are very kind and helpful. There is a flower arrangement business down the road who offers a wide range of beautiful wild flowers. We had a catering food truck just outside the barn where people grabbed a plate of food and sat inside. The lights inside the barn makes everything look magical at night. The property is large enough to host camper vans and trailers for guests. The Mellows really put a lot of effort into creating this barn to deliver top quality.
