This neighborhood pocket park is pretty good. Only a handful of parking spaces, but if you live nearby there are sidewalks to lead you here so you can leave the car at home. A single picnic table under a tree is located maybe a dozen steps from the parking lot. Nice picnic spot. Then to reach the playground or basketball court there are steps, as this main part of the park is below the road-grade level. The playground is well maintained and good for kids from about 3 to 9 years of age. There is a bench to sit on while you watch over the kiddies or to take a rest. The sports court is fine, not usually too busy during the weekday. For me, the best thing about this park is that if you walk down the hill a little ways, away from the park, and you go across the road, there is a wonderful woodland trail just there.
