This neighborhood pocket park is pretty good. Only a handful of parking spaces, but if you live nearby there are sidewalks to lead you here so you can leave the car at home. A single picnic table under a tree is located maybe a dozen steps from the parking lot. Nice picnic spot. Then to reach the playground or basketball court there are steps, as this main part of the park is below the road-grade level. The playground is well maintained and good for kids from about 3 to 9 years of age. There is a bench to sit on while you watch over the kiddies or to take a rest. The sports court is fine, not usually too busy during the weekday. For me, the best thing about this park is that if you walk down the hill a little ways, away from the park, and you go across the road, there is a wonderful woodland trail just there. It is truly the forest glen, complete with tiny stream and huge trees. So it is all quite nice!

Don't walk on the wall. I did it and the tangle of branches was unpleasant, some had thorns. Other than that, there are swings a-plenty and a nice open space. The park was a bit small not counting the trail, but the new play equipment has helped.

It's a well appointed park, kind of off the beaten path. Walls surrounding are covered in chaulk drawings. It's clear that children play here.

I first came to this park right after it was built. We did all the dangerous things here. We walked around on the top of the wall to test our balance. We played in the ravine behind the wall. And I am sure we did many more unsafe, but very fun things. Great memories...
