Bahner Farm — Attraction in Belmont

Have shopped at Bahner for some years now and although they are pricey their veggies have been superb. I would have liked to contact them privately, rather then publicly but I could not find out a way to email them. Three weeks ago I purchased loose leaf lettuce that I absolutely loved and raved about it to my friends because of it's goodness and longevity. Saturday I purchased more, and today it is Monday and it is mostly gone by. I am disappointed and I assume they will stand by their products but it will be several more days before I can get to Belmont again and I don't know exactly how to reach them ....so the mediocre review. Perhaps they are growing too quickly for what they are...

Bahner Farm's winter buying club is so great! Pick up times are convenient and the food is always so fresh and delicious. They also have fantastic seedlings in the spring/summer. I regularly stop by for fresh produce and everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the items available. They usually have several traditional seasonal veggies (carrots, onions, tomatoes etc.) and a few choices that were newer to me but very good! (summer turnip, baby bok choy) Be sure to try the asparagus- it's so much better than anything you'd buy...

This family and farm are the Bees Knees! They are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and are a pleasure to work with. They keep evolving and growing, this is seen in their farm stand, CSA and farmer's markets. They listen to the interests of their customers and do their best...
