I recently rediscovered this place after visiting it once four years ago. Boy, have I been missing out!

Things to do:

Walk through the beautiful path running parallel to the river, with the steep slope beside you. A wonderful place to think.

Check out the observation deck for a lovely view of the Rock River. The deck is very well build and has a perfect railing to lean on and stare at the view for an...

I love this park. It's huge with a platform giving you a great view of the lake. There's lots of places to go and trails to hike. I see many things going on from birthdays to gatherings to events, there's always something. They have multiple playsets. You could easily spend the entire day just hanging out enjoying the day. My only downside is that there's to many people and it's too...

Have been here 2x now. Its a great place to hike. I did over 5 miles the first time. There are mowed paths and a prairie on the one side and the other is the big hill. Lots to explore. Would definitely recommend. Lots of little parks and restrooms are out houses so they are opened all year round. Also has breath taking views. They have several shelters for picnics with...

This park, while seemingly small has quite the trails, views and overall setting. Beautiful layouts for an easy walk or a more challenging hike keep you busy. Multiple picnic areas stocked with tables, benches and even fire pits/fireplaces. On-site vault toilets leave a lot to be desired. I get it’s nature but a plumbed bathroom would make this a five star review for me.
