I hope I never have to attend a ball game at Markey Park ever again! The umpires were unprofessional & disrespectful to our baseball family. Our boys are respectful & our coach are professional. Our coaches couldn't even ask a question on the field without be reprimanded for doing so. Our third base coach was kicked out of the game for coach one of our boys on second. The umpire made him go to the parking lot!!! The umpire couldn't keep a count behind the plate & when the coaches questioned it well it just made all the calls towards our boys worse. We came to play ball & have fun in a wood bat tournament. It was made very clear to us that we weren't welcome to do that. Your bathrooms are gross (I mean over flowing toilets with toilet paper and feces on the cement gross), people were rude, no shade, & the surrounding area matched that. If I were USSSA I would be ashamed to host a tournament here. I've never left a good or bad review for ball park before but this place earned this less than one...

These are the worst most unprofessional umpires I have ever witnessed. I’ve been to a million ball games and have NEVER seen umpires yelling at coaches for coaching their kids “during a pitch”. When the third base coach from other team the previous inning wouldn’t stop talking the ENTIRE time. Yet nothing was said to him. The coach that was yelled at got kicked out of the entire game?! So excessive, and now the empire is treating our team unfairly. For no reason. We are a very respectful community and drove almost 5 hours from North Central Kansas to play in this tournament.
