We had my daughter's 2nd bday party here and the kids loved visiting the animals and playing in the play fountain - parents were all impressed at what a unique and great spot it was for a kids party, plus it's not near a road and is really safe to let kids just play. The amazing farm stand coordinator helped reserve tables, which was really a tent, tables, chairs and had flowers on each table for us 👍❤️! We could bring food/decor and we're asked to simply buy our drinks there. The market is beautiful on its own and you'd think it cost a fortune but no...just a recommended $10 per head purchase amount at the farm stand or market, which is easy when they have great beer and wine for adults! 10/10!

I recently visited Schilling's Garden Market and was impressed by their fantastic selection of plants and gardening supplies. They offer a wide variety of veggie starts, seed potatoes, and even trees perfect for any garden. The pottery collection is beautiful, featuring unique, handcrafted pieces that really stand out. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering great advice on plant care and gardening tips. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, there’s something for everyone here. Overall, Schilling's Garden Market is a must-visit for anyone looking to enhance their garden. I’ll definitely be returning!

How did I just discover this place?! What a gem. A huge selection of outdoor trees and plants as well as indoor plants, pots, and gardening access. AND they even have a small farmers market every couple weeks with local booths. Additionally, a small market with yummy goods and trinkets AND they even serve wine. Walking through the grounds I was kept pleasantly surprised at all they had to offer. I will definitely be making this a frequent place to visit going forward.

Honestly, I can't help but compare this new operation to the previous Schilling's Solar City. And the new market suffers by comparison. Fewer buildings containing plants, fewer plants per building, and I failed to find much in the way of locally-grown; rather, they had the same supply of "Proven Winners" and the likes, trucked in from growers elsewhere (and thus likely grown with neonics, etc.), that you find at Lowe's and Home Depot... and for higher prices and very little variety.

Also more difficult for us disabled folks to navigate while trying to drag a cart; hoses left in very inconvenient places across narrow walkways, chunky lava rock instead of crushed gravel or other smoother surfaces.

And, frankly, less than the courteous, friendly service the previous business always offered. I felt ignored while shopping and like a bit of a burden at checkout. Furthermore, that aspect of Schilling's Solar City that made it just plain fun to visit is completely gone. I...

Last fall I purchased three small Doug firs from Schillings. We put them in the ground, and took care of them all winter. Two of the three are thriving and the third one has died. I brought pictures today to Schillings showing the two growing trees and the one that has died. I asked for a refund or some consideration toward purchase of another tree. I was told that I could not be helped and that there was a seven day return policy on plants. We moved to Redmond one year ago from Beaverton, Oregon into a new house and we are going to be needing nursery plants. I came to Schillings last fall because of a good recommendation I got from the community. I am disappointed in the response that I got today....
