Matthew Turner Park — Attraction in Benicia

One of my favorite places to visit. It is so quiet and relaxing. I do a lot of my thinking here. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. There is also a huge grassy area for a picnic. If you do want to sit at a table I suggest bringing your own table cloth. The tables can be somewhat dirty. No shade over tables. As for tree shade there isn't much of that at all so make sure to bring plenty of water, hat and sunscreen. There are homes around the park so you will need to be mindful of that.
