Barefoot Acres NC LLC — Attraction in Benson

I adopted my aussiedoodle puppy Luca from Mrs. Barefoot about a month ago and he is the sweetest boy ever! Mrs. Barefoot was extremely helpful during the adoption process and answered any questions I had (which as a first timer puppy owner I had a ton). She took amazing care of Luca up until I adopted him. She even let me come visit her farm and pick him out. And put him on a 24 hour hold while I made sure everything was in place to get him! That’s amazing! I have adopted cats form breeders before, and so has my mother, and no we have talked to has done that. I took Luca to the vet right when I got him and everyone there loved him and said he was in excellent health and that the breeder did a wonderful job socializing him. And she did! Luca knows no stranger and loves other dogs. He also loves my cat (although my cat still isn’t too found of him yet). Luca caught on to potty training quickly and is very smart. He currently is doing in-kennel training for the next three weeks and I miss him horribly. We adopted our Aussiedoodle Otis T. Dog from Jacklyn and Barefoot Acres. Jacklyn is amazing. Great communication from the beginning --We were even able to schedule FaceTime chats with Otis.

Not that he could figure out what was going on, but it was great for us to see him get bigger every week! We could even get a sense of his personality.

Otis is very healthy, clearly extremely well cared for. He's very well-adjusted and adapted amazingly well to his new family in less than two weeks.

Otis's success has to be down to the care and love that he received on the farm. They take great care of these pups--and it shows. All veterinary stuff taken care of --shots, microchipped --comprehensive.

Can't recommend this place highly enough… If you can adopt a pup from Barefoot acres farm, you're a lucky family!

Our Aussiedoodle, Lucy is the absolute best dog from here! She is so sweet and has the best temperament. Jacklyn was wonderful to work with from the first day when I called her and she spent 45 minutes answering all of my questions and even offered to video chat with me right away to show me the puppy we were considering. The 24 hour courtesy hold was something I hadn't heard of before and I really appreciated this to give us time to make sure we were making the right decision! You can tell that Jacklyn and her family really care greatly about all their dogs and give them all the love and attention they need before they come home with you. We loved our weekly zoom calls to watch our puppy grow as well as the many picture updates we got along the way.
