Me and my husband got married at Sundance this past weekend, and our experience with both the team and the venue was absolutely incredible. From the start of the planning process, Amelia was so responsive and helpful—she shared a list of trusted vendors who worked seamlessly together and helped make our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. Throughout the weekend, Amelia was welcoming and kind, and on the wedding day, Liv went above and beyond—she even helped me hide from guests in the most fun way, covering me with a blanket to playfully and ironically reenact Runaway Bride! The staff also joined in the celebration by taking photos in our photo booth, which gave us such a sweet memory.
We also appreciated being able to revisit the venue during planning to gather decor inspiration. Honestly, Sundance doesn’t need much additional decoration—the space speaks for itself. It’s enchanting, magical, and unlike any other venue. The bridal suite felt straight out of Pretty in Pink, and walking into the venue felt like stepping onto a movie set. Our guests couldn’t stop raving, many saying it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.
From the outside, Sundance may look unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, you’re charmed by the eclectic mix of shabby-chic décor, stained glass, lush gardens, and unique details. It’s not your stereotypical farmhouse or industrial former warehouse type of venue that you see everyone doing now. It’s something far more special. Each time we visited, we noticed new additions that made the space even more impressive (like the sun shades and vines in the garden that weren’t there during our first visit).
We couldn’t recommend Sundance more highly—it truly is one-of-a-kind, and we feel so grateful to have celebrated our wedding...

The dog was mentioned multiple times and even brought to the venue for a walk through the day before as well. The 420 bud bar was discussed with Amelia and we were told they just needed to be a “licensed” distributor and it was okay! Like I said, Liv was an amazing part of the day! I have nothing bad to say about her what so ever.
The Sundance and the Secret Garden is a beautiful venue. I was very excited to be able to work at this venue as a vendor. Liv was amazing. She was helpful, she asked the right questions and was thoughtful. She’s amazing.
The only problem with the venue that I did have was my interaction with the owner . My Bride was bringing her emotional support dog, and she was told that she was not allowed to be here until an hour before the ceremony and for an hour after the ceremony. The owner had communicated with Liv to tell us that the dog was not allowed to be there. The bride finally said that the owner did give her the OK because she is an emotional support dog. Then the owner backed down and said “Oh I totally forgot”. Which I understand busy season gets the best of us! But my Bride was in tears the morning of her wedding while doing make up and triggered a panic attack. The owner then showed up to apologize, but it did not seem very sincere. As I was making up time I had lost from dealing with that situation, Amelia came up to me and apologized. It was an “I’m sorry but” sort of apology. I did not have time to have a full conversation with her about it. The owner’s apology just did not feel genuine or heartfelt at all.
That is my only knock on the venue. It’s a beautiful place and the staff is amazing. Just make sure you get...
Read moreI so badly wish I could give this place 5 stars. My husband and I had a wonderful wedding. Everyone complimented the venue. The suites are so unique and my photos are gorgeous. I could not have picked a better venue. It’s also affordable which is a major plus. Liv was the perfect addition to the day and made sure everything ran smoothly.
My issues happened the day of the wedding. We got to the venue and I start getting my makeup done when I’m told my dog can’t be there. I immediately start panicking because we talked about it months in advance and we were assured that she could be there all day as long as we had a handler, which we did. My wedding planner went back to them with that reminder and they still refused to let her be there. I had to stop getting ready to go talk to Liv. I told her she’s my emotional support animal and I’m now having a panic attack. She said she would call Amelia back and I was told to go back to getting ready. 5 minutes later Amelia walks into the bridal suite and “apologizes”. She stated that she may have forgotten we talked about it, which means she doesn’t make notes of things discussed during meetings. She also said my husband should have told her my dog was an ESA and then it wouldn’t have been a problem, trying to make it his fault. She had a nasty attitude and it was nothing of an apology other including the word sorry.
This place is beautiful and everything I’ve ever dreamed of, but due to Amelia’s behavior I would not...
