Hidden gem! We went to silver beach, a little too crowded for us. A Local told us about this beach and didn't disappoint!! The stretch of the beach is beautiful! Plenty of space to park. You can park facing the water and watch the waves from your car Long Beach great for walking, has bathroom to use but can use an update lol They also has a kid playground for kids to play! The pavilion is a gorgeous spot for summer party and actually when we were there a group of people already rented it out with live DJ! There some newly built houses way back, I wonder how much those houses run lol Very nice park, I would highly recommend visiting for a sunset 😍

Jean Klock Park is a stunning beachside park and was the perfect backdrop for some engagement photos I took this summer. Knowing many of the beaches are full in the summer, and wanting to respect beachgoers, as well as ensure my clients had some open spaces for shooting, we headed to this beach for some less crowded spots. The sunset was stunning, the short walk to the water was perfect, and the photos turned out so well. I've taken my family back to this beach to enjoy it and I highly recommend visiting! Stunning views and easy to access.

The north entrance of this beach is the most beautiful! Go down grand avenue, to past the beautiful cheese sculpture, and park by the golf carts the neighborhood residents drive to the beach. Ignore the sign pointing south at the corner of Jean Drive and Grand Boulevard. Igore the no motorized vehicle signs and no beach access signs the out-of-state second home owners put up, and drive right on in! Have a glorious day by the least crowded and best part of this public beach!

Hidden treasure in St. Joe / Benton Harbor area and only a few blocks away from downtown restaurants and shops. The park has beautiful grassy dunes and large easy access beach. ***Getting here was a bit confusing due to small or missing signs--or use a gps. If there is no gate attendant make sure to look for the payment kiosks and have your license plate number ready--there is a park ranger who tracks license plates that haven't paid.
