There is no zero stars or I would pick it. We turned into this placeβs parking lot in our car thinking it was a public park around 7:30pm on June 16th. Once there for only about 20 seconds we saw sigh on the fence saying that this was a private property and not a public park. I turned my car around right away and as we were trying to leave this place we saw a person come out of building, not sure if he was an owner since he was in plain clothes, almost trying to stop us and with very confrontational tone said: βPrivate Propertyβ. Me, my wife and my sister all felt pretty intimidated ( my little dog was also with us in the car) with this person especially not knowing what his intentions were. I tried to tell him that we saw the sign on the fence once in the parking lot and we were leaving but instead he again with confrontational tone said that we should have seen private property sign at the entrance. At that point we did not want to argue with this person since he was obviously looking for it and said sorry we did not see that sign and we were already leaving. When I came back with my siblings to watch the sunset, a resident immediately confronted us, eager to kick us out. We left without arguing, only to be met with a smug, racist remark on the way out.
That was when it hit meβmy mistake was believing I could quietly, peacefully enjoy a piece of nature. But here, even the lake has been claimed, fenced in, and hoarded by arrogance and greed.
This community reeks of entitlement and exclusion. I do not recommend this chapel and would never give money to a community that hides nature behind fences and treats people with such arrogance...
