If you love the outdoors, Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin, NH, is nothing short of paradise. The trails are some of the best in New England—well-maintained, diverse, and stretching across miles of rugged beauty. Whether you’re exploring on an ATV, snowmobile, mountain bike, or even hiking on foot, the variety is endless. You can go from winding wooded paths to wide-open vistas that give you breathtaking views of the White Mountains and beyond.

🚜 The Riding Experience The riding here is legendary. It’s one of the only state parks in New Hampshire designed specifically for motorized off-road recreation, and it shows. You can spend a full day riding without repeating the same trail twice. The mix of technical terrain, smooth cruising stretches, and scenic overlooks makes it an adventure for riders of all skill levels. In winter, the snowmobile trails transform the area into a winter wonderland.

👋 The People & Atmosphere What really sets Jericho apart is the community. Riders, hikers, and locals are welcoming and helpful—it feels like everyone’s part of the same big family. Whether you’re chatting at the trailhead or sharing stories in town, there’s a down-to-earth friendliness that makes you feel at home.

🏘️ Berlin & Gorham Just beyond the park, Berlin and Gorham add to the experience. Berlin has a rich mill town history, with a grit and pride you can feel in its local businesses and events. Gorham, just down the road, is one of those charming small towns where Main Street feels like a step back in time, lined with great places to grab a meal or stay the night. Both towns serve as perfect hubs—whether you’re grabbing supplies, finding a cozy spot to eat, or just soaking in the North Country charm.

✨ Jericho State Park isn’t just a place to ride or hike—it’s a full experience. The trails are world-class, the scenery is unforgettable, the people are warm, and the nearby towns of Berlin and Gorham make the adventure even richer. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast looking for your next favorite spot,...

AMAZING FAMILY GETAWAY CHEAP! Our family took a chance and booked a cabin at this state park for ATV Fest weekend. The cabins are very basic (but $50 per night is a AMAZING price!) and they offer two bunks beds and a queen size futon which was comfy. Everything was super clean. There are solar powered lights - but that's it. There are NO plugs or lighting other than one single indoor ceiling fan light (and the fans do not operate). Plenty of windows will keep you cool. The site came with a fire pit and fold over fire grill and a picnic table. The lake was unreal - crystal clear water with sand bottom and panoramic views of the mountain range in the background. Small playground with swings and beach fire pit. The bathhouse was very clean and large. Cold showers are free but if you want some warm water be sure to bring change ($1 per 6 minutes). This campground is very close (about 15 minutes) from Walmart and a very populated town center. Plenty of gas, Dunkin Donuts, and small food shops. Close to Twin Mountain and about 30 minute ride to Glen Ellis Falls and the Mt. Washington Auto Road (which cost us $60 just to drive up which was outrageous and I was NOT happy about. Thankfully we got a good deal on our cabin so we could afford it.) The campground was quite at night time and ATV's are welcome at the camp and they have trails for the ATV's which are some of the best I have seen in the state. If you are looking for affordable cabins for a family trip close to the touristy stuff this is your best bet. I HIGHLY recommend this campground and we cant...

We just recently camped for 5 days here. Friendly staff, spectualr bath house very clean. Great trails and most kid friendly. We had our two 8 year old grandsons with us and they were able to ride there dirtbikes easily. Beautiful views. My only complaint is we booked online for four adults and two children. The online site gave me a total and that's what I paid. However it did not give me the right total. The online site does not charge you the $10 a night per adult. I did not know this so when I checked I was told I owed another $80. My reservation clearly stated 4 adults and two children. The woman at the campground was great about the hole situation. However I do believe that this should be corrected with the online booking site so people are charged correctly. So my complaint is not directly with the campground it's the online booking however the statepark are the ones whom should correct the error. Beautiful campground we loved it the kids loved it. We would definitely do it again. Campsite #6 is a beautiful site very secluded and plenty of privacy. No direct parking on site but that didnt pose an issue at all, that's why you have wheelers right?...

We were in Jericho Mountain State Park, NH for the Memorial Day Long Weekend. This place is so amazing that it feels like "Paradise around the corner". The whole trip was fun filled and relaxing, There are so many amazing view points, and eye candy locations for photographers. Being one, myself, I spent a whole night star gazing in the dark skies. We all were very lucky to witness a long array of Meteor Shower, late evening. The people at the State Park management are so friendly and affectionate. They even provided a 60 ft long extension cord to charge my car the whole night. Bathrooms were neat and clean, The park management has taken every step to provide its visitors a top notch camping experience for a very very affordable price. I would love to go up there any time. Over all its a 5/5.

We hit the green trails today and let me tell you they are great. A bit harder than I was expecting so if you have a bone stock jeep I'd suggest not trying it. You definitely need a winch! I ended up going through the trail a second term but this time I slid off one rock and into another breaking my steering linkage. Marc Poulin came out and fixed her up and we got it off the trail! Great guy and the help was much appreciated! Definitely going to hear back when we can!
