I love how tucked away this trail is....It's like a Local's secret between Placitas and ABQ. Take Forest Road 445 (when heading to the trail from Placitas), but only if you have a high clearance vehicle and/or 4WD. When it snows and melts, it can be a bit sticky. I frequently loop Piendra Lisa Trail to Del Agua in either direction also. There is a bathroom and trashcans at this trailhead but no dog bog station.
