Got bitten by unleashed human dog there! Be ware!

First of all i have to apology for my language, but agree with me after you read our story!

Came here this Sunday with our two toddlers(2&3 yrs old). entry fees $10 ppl regardless of age(even for 1 day old baby), this was fine, i even said it’s not free to grown flowers! While we were enjoying the peonies and thinking which ones we will cut later, we walk by a huge rock which located off /behind the peony field that my kids wanted to climb on, we followed them and watching them closely, all of a sudden one of the young male employee came behind and ask us not to climb on rock, ok respected that request and started to try to bring our kids down..as soon as we were down, Then he immediately made another comment “also we don’t allow photos here!! “ We were shocked and ask him no photos for kids?/flowers? no one informed us at the entrance when we paid, plus all the people in the garden are snapping photos! where says no photo can be taken?? Then he goes”its on our website”. We were still in a total shock because we dont check your website before coming, so we might said something like “this is ridicules”. then the man turn into a human dog, he started to ask us leave the place, and accuse our kids stepping on their flowers( ours kids are not even as tall as their flowers) and says that we are trespassing on their private property and will call POLICE!! How are we trespassing??? we are invited here as paid customers!!

We were so disappointed and angry so i tried to talk to a manager/owner, however the owner was not around, but the owner’s mother (who is collecting fees at the entrance) said: ITS OK TO TAKE FEW PICTURES as long as you dont have a professional camera! (finally some one reasonable, thank you grandma)

But anyways, i read some more bad reviews about this place, besides they don’t ship whatever people bought on their website, people have the same issue:rude staff/owner, charge money for no flowers, owner asked people to leave because of their little kids being annoying(for her)!

in conclusion: this place is thirsty for money, owner/employees are kids hater and they dont care about customers experience and they all rude like wild...

From the moment we got there we felt completely unwelcome. Wouldn’t return back if you paid me. The owner or whoever the old lady is at the front collecting the money was extremely rude when I asked her how much the tickets were going to be she said it they were $10 each, I came with a group of people but I was only paying for myself and my daughter so I told her I wanted two tickets she looked at the group of people I was with and immediately got an attitude with me and said “That looks like a lot more than two people!” I replied and said “yes but I’m only paying for myself and my daughter, seriously? I’m not going to scam you….” She responded with “$20 dollars!”. The staff kept a close eye on us the entire time we were there as if we were going to steal their peonies or something. It was an absolutely disgusting experience Don’t COME HERE ! (Long valley peonies) are professional and don’t treat...

I am surprised to see negative reviews. Firstly, the selection is superb, as is all the information and navigation of this website. I called twice, and got Kathleen on the phone straight away. She was so sweet and generous with her time and presentation of information. I ordered many peonies, which arrived exactly on time, professionally packaged and in labeled, individual bags, protected in peat moss. The bulbs were fresh and healthy, and the box was lined with stunning pink tissue that made me feel like I had received a special gift. The only criticism I have is it appears that two of my peonies may have only had two eyes, whereas there are supposed to be 3 to 5. I have planted everything and remain hopeful that my first year will help me through the impatience of waiting for the three years it takes to get a great peony garden going. I haven't visited in person, but I'm sure it's...

Absolutely Stunning! A Peony Paradise Peony’s Envy is an absolute dream for any garden lover. The gardens are meticulously maintained, bursting with color and fragrance from countless varieties of peonies—each more breathtaking than the last. Whether you’re strolling the winding paths, admiring the serene woodland backdrop, or getting up close to the lush blooms, every view feels like a scene from a painting. I especially appreciated the thoughtful layout and the peaceful, natural setting. It’s not just a flower garden—it’s a full sensory experience. The variety of peonies, from delicate blush tones to vibrant corals and deep pinks, was incredible. Every flower seemed to have its own personality. Highly recommend visiting during peak bloom—it’s magical. A perfect spot for photography, a quiet walk, or simply soaking in nature’s beauty. This place is truly a hidden gem. 🌿🌺🌞

Beautiful and relaxing place covered in so many gorgeous varieties of peonies. Went during the full bloom last week and it was paradise. Planted some of their roots last year that are blooming now. They have lots of events including Friday night picnics and weddings. But they seem overwhelmed with these preparations. You’ll have a really nice time if you can avoid interacting with the owner. Guests are treated passive-aggressively and made to feel uncomfortable. The flowers need better labeling so we can know what roots to buy but owner refuses to answer fairly easy questions and runs away from you. It’s sad someone owning and sharing all this beauty could be so rude. You chuckle about it later but it leaves a sour taste. Hospitality and customer service go a long way!

This is an amazing place!! The density of peony plants is mind boggling. Once you start walking the grounds you find that it goes on and on and on and its continuing to expand! Today Tree Peonies were at peak and just when I thought I found the best flower...I would find another right behind it that was even more beautiful! I cant wait to come back next week for the herbaceous bloom. The owner is a lovely woman full of information. Cost to visit is $10.00. The demonstration garden is like a wooded oasis. Solitude, bird songs, benches and more beautiful flowers than you can ever imagine. This is a must see during bloom. Theres a little shop on site as well.
