I usually go somewhere else for apple picking but decided to take my family to Blue Jay's this year. Giving a 2 star because of rude, disrespectful staff members. One in particular comes to mind. It was very hot and my infant wanted to be fed while we were apple picking so I decided stop at a shaded area to quickly give her a bottle . My husband took our two other kids to see the pumpkins while I was feeding our infant. I took our kids' 2 apple bags placed them in the stroller basket. A staff member on a motorized scooter stopped next to me and said that I am taking too many apples. I politely explained to him that the bags tipped over when placed under the stroller basket and that the bags are not overfilled and that he can check them. The staff member continued to scold me. I just thought it was ridiculous. Wouldnt I cover the stroller basket if I was really trying to steal apples or take more than I should? I posted a picture to show how "overfilled" the bags were. Unfortunately, my kids enjoyed their time so I cannot say that I won't return.Hopefully, it will a different...

Read moreDonald (the staff) should not work with people, he can not maintain polite conversation and does not have an intention to solve the problems in a good way: The place is nice. Enough of apple chose, but some of staff are mean. Donald, the man on the little truck, noticed a couple of apples my child had out of the bag. I was telling her not to take them, but I did not expect to be treated so badly after all. He stopped us with friends and told that we are stealing the apples. I apologized, told that I did not know the rules and wanted to return the apples. He did not want to accept them and made me buy another bag.
I understand there are rules, but he really was mean to me and my child. No smile and politeness was present on his side, just angry rude orders. This was our first apple picking experience with my child and I don't think we will want to do it ever again..
Ps. I went to the manager later (she was nice) and returned that extra bag; however, I am not able to bring back the mood for my...
