A nice park, but a few of its visitors are a little less than kind. My family is black and we've gone to Louise Moore a few times so my 3 year old nephew can play. On one occasion, these two women showed up with a child. The child was very friendly and said hello but the women seemed standoffish and encouraged the child to keep walking, asking him if he wants to go to the larger playground instead. Didn't think much of it because hey, I'm quiet and a bit awkward myself. Plus, the child was a bit older so maybe the smaller playground wasn't for him. When we went ahead to the larger playground some time later, these women turned their backs and within a few minutes they made the child leave again. These people think they're being subtle but they're not, lol. A few families have since tried to get their children to leave while we're there. We do nothing other than sit and let my nephew play. He doesn't even bother anyone because he's autistic and keeps to himself. Mind you, not every person has been like this, but we don't feel comfortable going here, and it's a shame because it's a nice place.
One of the men on those golf carts though, an older gentlemen with a gray mustache, he was very polite as we were leaving. Thanks, sir....
Read moreTerrible experience on Fathers Day Sunday. Park representative (he never officially introduced himself, even after we asked - but was riding around on a golf cart, in a green tshirt) was extremely rude and verbal disrespectful towards a group of 5 individuals, including myself that had come out to enjoy the day and get some exercise. He asked us to move our small gathering which we immediately complied but the next open space we chose he returned to state that was still a problem. We asked why and he just said it was because it wasn’t where he wanted and if we didn’t listen he threatened to call the police. We immediately left the premises as it was insinuated the public was not welcome, that only those persons deemed in good standing by the opinion of the employee. I won’t ever return to this location and will never recommend this park as a warm and welcoming area in...

The way in is tricky you want to go on the road across street of where the sign for the park is ,to get to trail head . They offer a rubber jogging trail that everyone uses because it's easier on the feet to walk & paved or dirt trails . Also there is a scenic nature trail that begins at woodline. Too much to name . I'll be...
