Beverly Heritage Center — Attraction in Beverly

Fantastic visit! I am so grateful for the helpful information in locating some details of my family history. Chris helped by suggesting some places in Beverly where we may find markers of the Files and Tygart cabins: found! And Justin suggested some titles of different publications where we might find some more historical details, and sent us next door to see Deb, who sold us her last copy of a handwritten and hand-illustrated account of Beverly history, written by Carolyn Respass. The Heritage Center looks amazing! Excellent curation in the museum, and my son loved serving as Judge (he fined me $200, but will let me pay it off over time). I was visiting Beverly WV from VT to do some genealogy research. Christopher, who was working at the center, the day I dropped in, was a wealth of information on the history of Randolph county.
