A very good trail for going to Mt LeConte. Even though it is the longest, it is not the steepest. Plus you get to hike along a 2.5 mile stretch of the AT. Along the way, it provided some great views and if you leave early enough, sunrise shots. A highly recommended trek to the top of Mt LeConte.

Beautiful trail. Trail is pretty well maintained and on a clear day offers a couple views through the trees. Fun trail that's not too steep either.

Nice little trailhead. Going left(from Newfound Gap side) takes you to the jumpoff, a sharp ledge on the southern summit of Mt Kephart overlooking the mountain chain the AT rides along. Going right takes you to Charlies Bunion, Laurel Top,...
