This is a very leisurely, relaxing hike along the creek. About a mile in, there is a backcountry campground, so if you want a little more peace and quiet that you get at Smokemont, you could book this and it wouldn’t be hard to get to. It can stay muddy after rain so use appropriate footwear if getting wet is...
