It was the best experience we had in South Dakota. We didn’t expect this but Cindy who volunteers there offered to take us (family of 5) on a golf cart throughout the whole 6 mile trail. We were very grateful for this as I had family members who would not be able to walk the whole trail. She was like our personal tour guide! We learned so many things that we definitely would not have noticed if we went on our own. She was very friendly and kind and we just loved her!

We say turkey, deer, eagles, and rabbits. Cindy made this trip...

They have a duck in a glass display that looks miserable and injured!! Not even a little pool of water for him. This really is inhumane. If you’re going to have a display duck, at least give him a decent cage, not an awful glass aquarium by himself. Just awful. Shame on you! When I arrived I waited at the desk and the lady was in the back never even acknowledged me. The lights were off in the barn even though it was during business hours and since I couldn’t get anyone’s attention I’m not sure if I was allowed to go in or not....

Such a secluded and peaceful area for a walk with the dogs, a run, or a bike outing. I wish I would have taken advantage of this place more while I lived in the area. It's a bit of a jaunt to get here, but it is most definitely worth it.

It combines grasslands and plains trails with wooded and river trails. Crushed gravel and dirt paths. I think this place is mostly a hidden gem most people never hear about, and they tend to...

Great place by the mud lake which offers well maintains trails and loops with different views. Toddlers/kids have a playground to enjoy and also watch hens, geese, turkeys and donkeys from a safe distance. There are lil cabins with chairs inside it by the lake and it’s perfect to pictures during golden hours. Archery lovers have a spot that’s near the lake to practice!

So much wildlife!! Deer, wild Turkey, pheasant, dozens of different bird species, frogs, toads, butterflies galore. Mary's Avenue trail is a must see, don't let the description "primitive trail " intimidate you. It's a wonderfully peaceful, flat, well groomed trail. On the lake loop you may even see some Buffalo from behind a fence on the adjacent private property.

Went to Family archery night. My whole family loved it. The younger all the way to teenager. Great instructor. The playground was very unique and fun for the kids. Clean, well kept bathrooms. Can fill water bottles in the fountain in the hallway by the bathrooms. Didn’t do all the trails, but what I saw they are very well maintained. Will definitely go back.
