There are World War II fighter planes in a huge, high ceiling hanger facility. There is a war plane for which visitors have access to sit inside the cockpit and experience the sensation of a real pilot. There are also a few fighter suits and other information on the planes. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they can see the politely. The place didn't get the fifth star because the location is not that easy to find. However, the search is worth it.    Read moreWow! Talk about an amazing museum! The lady (I completely forgot her name) gave us a quick tour with A LOT of history behind the hanger/ old Army air corps base that used to be there! The jets, stained glass windows, exhibits, etc all were amazing!
It was great to be able to get up close to all the jets, bummed that due to COVID-19 the B2 was closed so we couldnât go in, weâll be coming back before the end of the year for-sure! They do have one thing I'd not seen before - the interior of the nose area of a real B52. I sat in all six different seats, banged my head once or twice on low ceiling.
