Veterans Park — Attraction in Billings

All the trees that line the street have been dedicated to WWll vets. I really love the memorial they did with the eagle and the placks that have been placed in front of each tree. This is a beautiful tribute to those who have protected and served our country. If you haven't seen this, take a moment to walk the grounds and see it. It touched my heart.

The playground is nice. There's swings for babies and older kids and an awesome tire swing that's made from hard plastic that doesn't get hot in the sun. There are 2 play sets, one for bigger kids and the other for Littles. There are wood chips in the playground and big, wide open fields for kids to run around. Many families were eating picnic lunches under shaded trees and enjoying the day with their kids. There are baseball fields located behind the park, but they are so far away that you aren't in the same area. They are bathrooms, and they are kept up and...

Lots of open space and there's nothing really wrong with it. It has a great view of the rims. We went here for a movie in the park and that was definitely fun. The only reason I give it this so so review is that in this park we arrived shortly after a man was horribly injured and taken to the hospital from a large tree branch falling on him. This wasn't the parks fault of course, but the park must be rated...

We visited a free bbq that All Atound Roofing & Exteriors put on for the surrounding community! Their hospitality was top notch! The food was amazing, the games were fun and they gave away a 60" flat screen tv and an iPad!!
