If you’re a Reds fan or just an overall baseball fan, this small museum is worth the 15 minute detour off the interstate. In a separate room off City Hall, seeing Johnny’s history and awards (all 10 Gold Gloves) on display is well worth it. Unfortunately there’s not much more to see in Binger other than the museum and a few Johnny Bench street signs.

It was very cool to get a glimpse into the life and success of a famous Oklahoma born & raised athlete. The museum is small but filled with lots of memorabilia. So glad we stopped in. :-)

If you’re a Reds fan or just an overall baseball fan, this small museum is worth the 15 minute detour off the interstate. The Johnny Bench Museum has a wonderful collection of memorabilia from one of the greatest catchers to play baseball, ranging from his childhood to his retirement from the Cincinnati Reds. Recommended even if one only has a mild interest in MLB.

Entry is from within Binger City Hall and the museum is in an adjacent area on its west side. City staff is friendly and helpful and the museum is FREE, but please leave a donation- if for no other reason than a very...
