This place is a joke!! Walking in, I could feel the security at the front door were not very welcoming. They turned my sister away for having "rips" in her jeans. Sergeant Lewis, who was head of security that night, was very rude. I observed her telling an elderly woman " YOU CAN'T TAKE YOUR WATER BOTTLE OUTSIDE!!!" No respect for anyone and she rudely refused to give me information when I asked. How can you be head of security when you're a terrible leader? They don't allow sleeveless shirts or dresses, sheer, button downs shirts open with shirt underneath, short shorts, distressed jeans, etc. The dress code is ridiculous and should be posted on their website, if it's not already. Did they expect us to know the rules before we got there? It's a 21 an older establishment. It seems like they want you covered from head to toe. We went on a Saturday night and IT WAS DEAD IN THERE!!! I did not win any money. No drink machines are available and they stop serving drinks at a certain time. Food selection is very limited, from what I saw. The music they play is elevator music and it sounds like the music that plays when somebody puts me on hold LOL!!! I would reccomend they get some live music to change the atmosphere and stop turning so many people away!! Seems like they are finding reasons to run the place into the ground. How can you be a casino and not want money?? Do they care about the patrons of the slots or just the ones who come for the racing which ends at 10pm. So many questions, so little answers!!! They could possibly be making more money which they could use to update the place. Mr. Ronald and Mr. William were the attendants on the floor. They were very pleasant and welcoming. Been 300 times. Poor management team , poor concern for customers playing their slots. Give Free play $10 ticket with 0 gain 97% of the time. An so called MGMT team let me know You can also loose your money off tickets from their machines if they mal-Function. Not enough right staff to assist anyone with common courtesy / good customers service skills today. All employees have to lie regarding if they are still Bham Race Track or not. No changes in improvements for the casino environments safety & welfare for the customers , but new machines installed. The new Bham Race Track cards took 3 to 4 hours waiting in line to get with security or MGMT team concern if you were handicap in a wheelchair or walker or older disable person. Basically, disability people are not treated right. The new cards have 777Birminham Race Rack with your members new # Which does not indicate this casino is Wind Creek??? The parking lot is falling apart with multiple wholes and ticket cashing. machines go out too much keeping customer waiting to cash out with 1 cashier and 1 machine regularly. The Free play is a hook- I rarely win off them $10. Yes " Sad thing 1 cashier, 1 money cashing machine works operating for all customers in casino entire casino. The machines - bonus wins payout charged to low overthe last 10 months. I been going 10 yrs others claim they win big? "Not me.... The machines are tight. My friends tell me the same things. Being an avid casino "goer"... I was excited to check this one out. I knew it was a smaller one. I did read reviews first and my only concern going in (based on reading the reviews) was security... were they going to do a body check or are they just rude?? I found NEITHER to be true. They were very nice - they have a protocol upon entry of checking bags (fine by me) and checking IDs regardless of your age (fine by me). I was then directed to get my free play at the Players Desk. Line was long, but the wait was short - those ladies had it moving! I did get $100.00 in free play - wahoo! That's where the fun stopped. The machines are blah ... the age, the play... not exciting. Out of 3 bars/restaurants, only 1 was open and was only serving beer or a Tequila Sunrise. Then the most annoying part for me, and again I am spoiled by bigger casinos, .... you cannot cash out your ticket without standing in a looooooonnnnnng line at the cage. I am still confused as to what my card is for if I do not put it in the machine??? Why give me the card? How do you "reward"??
