What a lovely place to visit! My family was in Bishop Hill for Lucia Nights and we made a stop in to the Heritage Association and it was so cozy. The littles particularly enjoyed the train and I really enjoyed learning more about Bishop Hill and the founding Swedish families that came to Illinois.

I went to a car show across from the building. Fantastic show. Many vehicles of different makes and models. People showing their cars were friendly and informative if you took the time to talk to them. I love classic cars that have been lovingly restored. There were two Datsuns I had not seen in a while. A 260Z and 280Z. Beautiful. Shady place, especially on that hot day. I will go back next year and maybe show my 2004 Mustang GT...
