I can only rate the trail aspect of the park, as I haven't ventured to the opposite side, which looks to have playgrounds and restrooms.
No restrooms or water are available on the trail side of the park. They do have some exercise equipment, which is in decent shape.
The trail itself is well maintained and normally partially shaded by the trees. Everyone seems friendly, and most dogs are on leashes and well-behaved.
The trail is 1 mile if you just walk the outer path. The path also leads over a small creek (wheelchair bridge accessable) and ends up at the municipal water treatment facility. On normal summer days, you cN smell the facility depending on the direction of the wind. Nothing overpowering, however.

Read moreHaickey Creek is a park that is surrounded by a couple different neighborhoods , is well shaded with very large trees, has multiple walking trails , disc golf areas , picnic areas and swing sets and jungle gyms for children. A lot of people come here for daily walks and to walk their dogs.
One thing I strongly advise is whenever anyone is driving through, pay VERY close attention to the speed limit. This area is a HUGE speed trap where multiple cops will wait behind the trees/shrubs for anybody who is slightly even going over the speed limit.

Going here for a few hours to enjoy the walking paths, sit and read a book, or let your kids play, it's a great park. I think the best thing about it, is that it doesn't corral you to one area. There are several distinct areas to hang out, and you don't feel like everyone is all smashed in to one spot.
