Only had to use one bait all day long ! It happened to be my favorite Bass lure. A rubber worm ! But this one was 12" long. The bigger Bass seem to love it. I caught 10 or 12 smaller ones before I caught the first Big one. Still using the same almost wore out worm. I had to keep pulling my line and hook back through the holes in the worm and keep moving the hook in just a bit different place than it was to keep it on the hook. At the end of the day I hooked in to a Bass Much bigger than the other two. I was trying to get him under control with it pulling so hard it was taking my drag and pulling line out. Then the unwanted happens ! The line broke right at the hook. MY BAD ! I didn't check my line for burrs after the last big one I caught. Must have been right at the hook because it only had maybe a half inch of curled line at the end. He was just something a bit bigger than I was expecting to happen. And too much pressure on him. Then it was time to call it a day and catch him next time. He WILL STILL BE THERE ! I JUST KEPT ENOUGH FOR A GOOD MEAL, AND PUT ALL THE OTHERS BACK IN SO THEY CAN GET BIGGER NOW. GREAT DAY TO BE USING MY BERKELEY POWER BAIT PEICE !! OF MY FAVORITE COLOR, which happens to be Tequila Sunrise ! 12" instead of a 7". Red Shad and Green Glitter is another favorite. That's pretty much all I ever have to use to catch them with. Mepps #5 in line spinners in white, Yellow, and Natural Squirrel Tail. Big Beetle Spinners, and maybe crankbaits, And I love All my Top water lures I use for night time fishing . But I still like my Catfishing ! LOL !, And...
Read moreI love it although my ole man made me lose a homemade trap with two pieces of the plactic fan chicken wire and screwer sticks so if anyone finds it really works I just couldn't get out of the lake as hard as I tried and then after that he starts to paddle the boat while I have 2 lines in and was trying to reel one in with a 🐟 on it he hits my other line and then there goes my 🎣 and all. So a trap and a brand new zebco 404 is bye bye. I believe they...
