Lower Herring Lake — Attraction in Blaine Township

I love this lake, been coming here every year since I was a kid. Kayaking across the lake to the inlet that leads to lake Michigan was awesome...but make sure it's not windy or it will take longer and be more taxing on your body. On one side of the lake, there's a sizable sand dune that ends in the water, perfect for kids rolling into the water. Watervale Inn is on the South shore of the lake. Definitely recommend this lake for families as it is a no-wake lake, so none of that noise pollution from boats...

Launch ramp needs to be dredge to allow a 21 foot boat to...
