T C Lindsey & Co — Attraction in Blanchard

Waskom Texas TC Lindsey general store dates back the 1800's . Many ancestors brought every thing from this general store in Waskom Texas. This place was there Post Office, clothing, food supplies, to materials of various fabrics to make their family clothes. Food items, reading books or just wonderful penny candy. 1900 century my ancestor walking to and from this general store in all kinds of weather after "share cropedping" this red soil plan. Just to know they strive for us all to be a witness of where they came from to be spreading currently all over not in Texas or Louisiana but some of them traveled to west California, Colorado and into Chicago...

Cute spot but HEAVILY judgemental and nosy young man behind the counter. His behavior is the result of poor parenting and he needs to be corrected for his judgemental attitude towards myself and my son. It was odd...the restrooms were working just fine when we arrived but as soon as I mentioned to my son that I needed to be excused, the restroom suddenly had a "Out Of Order" sign on it BUT that sign didn't apply to the photography tour group from...

It's not a bad little store. They have lots of old memorabilia to look through, as well as a great assortment of old-school candies, snacks, and specialty sodas. It was recommended we make the drive over to look through the store, which ended up being about a 45 minute round trip but then it only took us about 30 minutes to look through everything.
