If you are looking for a DREAM venue with wedding ALL-STARS, look no further! The Dixie Gin is the perfect venue for a phenomenal wedding! My husband and I are Shreveport natives, and we were looking for something with natural beauty that paid tribute to our amazing hometown and culture. I admired the Dixie Gin from when I was young and dreamed of a wedding there. When I became engaged years later, I knew the first place I had to call was the Dixie Gin! Meeting with Kyla, Royce, and the crew solidified that the Dixie Gin was perfect for us. They made the whole process seem EASY, which is hard to come by for a wedding! During the pandemic, we did consider other venues or even elopement to minimize large gatherings. However, none of the other options matched that warm, cozy feeling we had at the Dixie Gin with Kyla! She was willing to plan a wedding with me in just a mere 5 weeks! She helped me with vendors and my vision come to fruition! She has such a natural talent and an eye for a beautiful wedding! She works night and day and is always available for suggestions and ideas (not that she needs any!) She calmed my nerves the day of the wedding and was always checking to make sure I was feeling good! Not only is this venue a true show-stopper and leaves everyone speechless, the venue’s crew makes it that much MORE special! I would love to get married here every year if I could! All in all, I couldn’t recommend the venue and the professionals that work at the Dixie Gin ENOUGH. If you are smart, you will definitely want to get hitched on your most precious day at the Dixie Gin!

There are not enough words of praise for the ladies at The Dixie Gin. My daughter had her wedding there just a few days ago. Everyone we dealt with- Kyla, Alexis & Pam was helpful, prompt and professional from the time the venue was booked until we left the premises after the reception. There was a wedding the night before my daughter’s but that wasn’t a problem. When we arrived the entire venue was clean, the interior was set up and all tables decorated. The ONLY thing left was the outside space. What a relief for the family! The bridal room and the groom’s quarters were ready as well. When the reception was winding down, the ladies jumped into action and began tearing down and packaging leftover food. They made boxing our personal items easy by setting them aside in 1 location and despite the late hour they remained professional and helpful. Weddings are notorious for being overwhelming. The ladies behind The Dixie Gin removed as much of the pressure, work and time as they possibly could. OMG. First off I’ll start with Kyla is absolute amazing!! In December of 2019 we booked and planned our wedding for May of 2020. Covid had other plans, me along with so many other brides were forced to postpone. Kyla did everything she could to help us through this time from deciding how far to push back, to making sure our decor and colors would still go with the new date. We had weekly meetings, daily conversations, just so we knew her and the Dixie Gin crew would do whatever they could to make our day, with a new date just as special. So last weekend it finally happened!! We had our beautiful May wedding in December. It was absolutely amazing!! The rehearsal process went flawless, our wedding day was even more perfect! Kyla and Dixie Gin crew were incredible! I could not even try to imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The Dixie Gin is where it’s at!
