If you're planning to visit please note that Pink Tractor Farms and Hillcountry Lavendar Farm share a driveway, and Hillcountry Lavendar is behind the building for Pink Tractor Farms.
As lavendar season is limited, please check their website as they're only open a few months out of the year (May -July) and then have limited hours Friday-Sunday. It is strongly encouraged you check their website for the most recent hours and details.
The farm location offers both a store full of lavendar products (cards, lotions, soaps and shower gels, satchets, and more) as well as rows of lavendar plants.
This year (2016) due to the warm winter and wet spring the lavendar blooms are lackluster. Yes you can find lavendar on the plants, but its not overwhelming and purple. Also due to the state of the plants Hillcountry Lavendar is not offering cut your own lavendar this year.

The lavender farm itself was a sight to behold. This is certainly a great place to take some photos, or even have a wedding if they even offer that. What impressed me most was the wide array of lavender products available. From culinary lavender to an extensive selection of bath accessories, they had everything!
The festival itself was very fun. They also sold lavender flavored lemonade, margaritas, and cookies!

Read moreI drove from Wimberley to the Blanco Lavender Festival and drove past the farm. I walked around the festival and checked a few booths but I couldn't find any Lavender Candles. It was 105 degrees at the festival so I didn't stay long. I remembered the Hill Country lavender Farm I passed on the way in so I stopped be there and they did have Lavender Candles. I looked around and asked the guy behind the counter, " Aren't the plants suppose to be Lavender?" He said because of lack of rain and the heat, the plants were maturing late.
