Read moreFound this beautiful place online and read the reviews. My husband and I went back in September this year and had a fabulous time. The gentleman serving us was wonderful. We joined the wine club before we left and spent quite a bit of money that day. 11/9/24 my daughter came from Dallas to visit us. We decided to bring her to try out the wines. We arrived and the greeting was not the most inviting. We sat outside and it was a little cool and breezy but beautiful. A woman, can't recall name, was to serve us. She brought three glasses and the first wine. Talked for 30 seconds or so and left. A group of chatty well dressed women came and sat at a table behind us. The lady who was serving us went to their table and proceeded to talk in length then returned with the wine and a gentleman following her with a blanket for each lady and water. Meanwhile we waited 15 minutes for her to return with more wine to taste and water and we planned on getting a cheese plate. Never happened. We got up and left. Maybe we were not dressed to impress that day, but the server clearly had an issue with us. I was pretty upset after raving about this place to my daughter. I will likely cancel my membership. It's a shame because it is a beautiful place. I will see if someone responds to this. This will determine my canceling or not. Disappointed in Boerne.
Update* 11/12/24 A gentleman called me and apologized for what had happened. I really appreciate that and it shows me they do care. I will definitely keep my membership and go back. It is a beautiful place and I will continue to tell my freinds to go visit. Thanks again...
Read moreWe are long-time members of Narrow Path Winery, on the way to Fredericksburg in Stonewall, and it is one of our favorite wine destinations in Texas. The views are spectacular with the sprawling estate vineyards and beautifully cultivated gardens. Curious and friendly winery dogs will joyfully wag their tails as they greet you and sometimes join you as you relax on the back portico.
We finally made it to one of their release parties this May, and we had a blast. One of the highlights of their release parties is they are not overcrowded, and you get to spend time with the Owners and staff. Their new, flavorful wines were finely crafted and extremely tasty. There was also freshly cooked pairing food available. The Cab Franc barrel tasting, paired with cheeses and meats, was our favorite and we preordered a few bottles – can’t wait for this delicious vintage!
They also have a quaint downtown nook on Main Street where you can also get a tasting and bottles of wine! We highly recommend this venue if you are visiting...
