Twin Sisters Dance Hall — Attraction in Blanco

The fair event was enjoyable. It's not far from San Antonio making it a nice little trip. There was plenty of parking areas. There were quite a few venders of assorted items, lots of homemade things, and even carving items, a kids fun area to do things, and good food venders. It was a hot day when I visited, and it was great that the fair area had lots of large trees giving nice shade for people to shop and enjoy the event.

The Dance Hall area was cleared, and set up with tables with lots of small auction items to bid on. I arrived in late morning and spent a couple hours there. I liked how there was an area for Elementary and Middle School aged kids to present their art work. It's a small, fun country fair. I recommend checking it out when they...

I was visiting friends in Spring Branch who set me up with an amazing woman for a blind date. She suggested we visit Twin Sisters after dinner.

Wow! Incredible experience! Driving in from the highway, the ambiance of the venture was apparent. Dozens and dozens of vehicles filled the parking area...a tell-tell sign that this place was popular.

Entering the dance hall, a feeling of nostalgia encompasses like a warm blanket. Immediately, it seems as if a time machine has transformed the surroundings to early 20th century.

The band played traditional country music for hours while we all danced the night away. The patrons ages ranged from 12 to 92. Super cool!

Twin sister has been a family go to spot for as long as I can remember it has such a beautiful structure and authenticity that is so beautiful and live music with plenty of tables a big dance floor and a bar but I think the only serve beer no liquor. Kept up to the t restrooms for his and hers and plenty of windows and fans for this hot sunny night. If your looking on booking a event for a wedding or party this place has enought space to fit it all along with it being gated and no worry of passer byers tables outside and plenty of space for kids to run around...
