Sauk Trail Woods — Attraction in Bloom Township

If you are Mexican or a single female stay away. Police still have not found the killer of a Mexican lady killed on the trail and thrown into the lake around 2007. Don't believe me? I have seen kids riding gas powered mini bikes around on the trail, forest preserve employees looking for males flashing people, drunk homeless open carry alcohol, women's underwear, on and on and on. Everyone that parks and doesn't get out of there car...up to no good. Watch...

I haven't been to the woods on Sauk trail for 40+ years and found it a very sad and different place than when I was a kid!! The lake was no longer clean and clear and didn't seem to have the wildlife like frogs and toads, snakes and turtles that roamed the woods years ago and I seriously doubt that there were any fish in the lake not to mention the pollution!! Things sure...

This location is underutilized!!! The picnic Grove and shelter here are beautiful! They unfortunately sealed up both of the amazing fire places here due to misuse .. but other than that, just gorgeous! You can see that it lacks the care that it deserves 😌 The views here a beyond amazing. They need to clean this place up,...
