The hike from the parking lot near the New Weis Center up to the Hi Point is rather steep (blue trail) and requires to climb over a lot of rocks, but the spectacular view makes it well worthwhile. Good hiking boots with ankle support are highly recommended. It can be a bit crowded on nice days, but it was pleasantly clean. The usual empty water bottles, dog poop bags, and picnic trash could not be seen. A network of interconnected hiking trails allows for an adjustment of the hiking time if things get too exhausting. The downside to the open rock is that it can get pretty windy and cold if the weather is not good but if you're prepared with layers you can do this hike all year round. The average person can get to the top but take it slow because there is a decent amount of elevation gain if you're not used to hiking.
